I agree to this,in Helsinki Finland most of the data analysis do first the quantitative data and then use qualitative strategies to look deeper into the meaning of the trends.Many of data collector proven that it is a effectively step.In fact many of data analysis service successfully do those step which has a good result.

Thank you for this workshop! I was very interested in this event for two reasons, I am familiar with evidence-based research (’97 MLIS!) but not with action research, plus as a “virtual librarian” at a 100% online proprietary university, I not only have more questions than answers about solving the problems I perceive in my institution, but I also want to demonstrate to the wider library community that my library, even if it is virtual and even if my university makes money, provides real library service and practices sound librarianship.

This presentation was very, very good, I was not sure if I would get here in time to catch this presentation and found that I was able to catch up and get so much info that I can use in my dissertation in, coincidentally, community college leadership.
The tools to use were fantastic to learn about. Actually working in groups helped me to take a multi-perspective approach to determining how I would approach this research problem.
The slides and content were very comprehensive.
Excellent program!

Very informative session. A lot of information to digest, but I gained enough of an understanding to play with these tools when I have more time back at home. You all were great presenters!

Very helpful! My dean now demands data, and I’ve been trying to get her to understand how coding responses from open ended questions is valid. Now I have more tools to use to present those responses in graphic form. Nice breakouts (I had a great table!).

Thank you so much! This was a great interactive way to explore action research and I can confidently say that I am less afraid to take the plunge and start conducting my own research. Very appealing to take a pragmatic, research-based approach to affecting change and encouraging evolution within librarianship.
